Working Principle
The A2140 uses Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence (EDXRF) analysis technology.
During testing:
The X-ray tube generates primary X-rays.
The X-rays irradiate the petroleum sample.
Sulfur atoms inside the sample produce characteristic fluorescent X-rays.
The detector measures fluorescence intensity.
The system calculates sulfur concentration according to calibration curves.
This method provides:
✔ Non-destructive testing ✔ No chemical reagents required ✔ Small sample consumption ✔ Fast analysis speed ✔ High repeatability
Instrument Characteristics
Adopts mechatronic microcomputer‑based design for a compact and elegant appearance.
Supports a wide variety of test samples, broad measuring range and rapid analysis, with low consumption of standard samples.
Applies the relative comparison analysis method based on fluorescence intensity ratio. Automatic correction for temperature and atmospheric pressure is available; correction for carbon‑hydrogen ratio (C/H) is also supported.
Equipped with an 8‑inch IPS capacitive touch screen featuring high brightness for clear visibility under sunlight with adjustable brightness. The software interface is intuitive and user‑friendly for easy operation.
The operating status and electrical parameters of the instrument can be evaluated by counting measurement and energy spectrum measurement of reference samples.
Provided with standard RS‑232C serial communication interface. Content data, counting data and calibration data can be uploaded to a computer.
Disposable single‑sided Mylar film sample cups are used to avoid cross‑contamination. Multi‑purpose pressing accessories enable fast and convenient sample cup preparation. The cup lid is fitted with air vents and allows recording of sample number, S% (m/m) and date.
The sample‑loading platform is mounted on a slide rail platform to ensure accurate positioning.
Large‑capacity data storage is available for content analysis results and calibration curve parameters.
Tight oil‑leakage protection is implemented. The sample cup is placed on an oil‑proof component and moves to the measuring position only during sample analysis.
Reliable X‑ray protection measures: Strict shielding is arranged around the detection system to prevent X‑ray leakage, causing no X‑ray ionizing radiation harm to operators or the public.
