1、 Characteristics of steel strand testing machine

2、 Maintenance of steel strand testing machine

1. All valves on the control cabinet shall not be opened to prevent dust from entering the interior and affecting the sensitivity of the measuring mechanism.

2. Long term frequent use may lead to oil reduction or deterioration. The oil volume shall be checked every 1-3 months according to the use situation. After stopping operation for 15 minutes, observe the oil window on the left side of the meter in the control cabinet. If the oil level is lower than the oil window, add the same hydraulic oil to the middle of the oil window; If the oil has deteriorated, replace it with new hydraulic oil.

3. Frequent use of steel strand testing machine for tensile breaking test may lead to loosening of some fasteners. The fastening of the following parts shall be checked frequently:

a. There are two (8 in total) l pressing plates at the front and rear of the upper beam and the moving beam (acting as the guide of the jaw clamping plate), and each pressing plate is fixed with two screws;

b. Move 6 screws at both ends of the beam;

c. Check the tightness of the screw drive chain every 6 months and adjust the position of the tensioning wheel accordingly (after removing the lower shroud of the main body);

d. Check the tightness of the oil pump drive belt once a year and adjust it accordingly (after opening the valve at the lower part of the control cabinet).

4. Lubricate the following parts every 3-6 months according to environmental conditions and service frequency:

a. The joint of screw rod and base shall be lubricated with 100 oil;

b. The lead screw drive chain is lubricated with grease;

c. The screw part of the screw rod shall be kept clean and lubricated with butter or molybdenum disulfide;

d. AB both lubrication shall be carried out after the lower shroud of the main body is removed.

5. There are two jaw clamping plates for installing jaws on the upper beam and the moving beam respectively, which are important parts of the steel strand testing machine. The sundries on the contact surface between the jaw clamping plate and the beam shall be removed frequently according to the use situation to avoid roughening the contact surface. The method is as follows: remove the pressing plate on one side of the moving cross beam, take out the jaw clamping plate, clean the contact surface between the jaw clamping plate and the cross beam with an oil rag, apply an appropriate amount of mixed grease of butter and graphite, install the jaw clamping plate and tighten the fixing screw of the pressing plate.
