Working principle
A destructive test is carried out on a standard cylindrical specimen of asphalt mixture at a temperature of 60℃ and a specified speed to measure the maximum pressure and deformation it can withstand under hot conditions. A vertical load is applied to the specimen through a loading device, a force measuring device measures the pressure borne by the specimen, and a flow value measuring device measures the vertical deformation of the specimen under pressure, thereby obtaining the stability and flow value of the asphalt mixture, providing an accurate basis for the composition ratio design of the asphalt mixture and the quality inspection of asphalt pavement construction.
Structural composition
Loading device: It is composed of a hanger, a crossbeam, a column, a force measuring device, a steel ball, a loading head, a tray, etc. The loading head is composed of an upper head, a lower head, and a guide rod. After the upper head is inserted into the guide rod, it can slide up and down freely and can apply a vertical load to the specimen.
Force measuring device: A force ring or a load sensor with a dial indicator is used to measure the pressure borne by the specimen.
Flow value measuring device: It is composed of a guide rod, a catheter and a deformation measuring instrument. The catheter is sleeved on the connecting guide rod of the loading pressure head and can slide freely to measure the vertical deformation of the test piece.
