SS-25 cement soil permeability test device
1. Product Overview
The SS-25 cement soil permeability test device is a new type of measuring device designed and developed according to the test requirements of JGJT233-2011 "Cement Soil Mix Design Code". It has a compact structure, easy operation, automatic pressurization, and constant pressure maintenance. This test is suitable for determining the permeability coefficient of cement soil.
2.Main technical parameters:
1. Permeability container: It consists of a permeability test mold, permeable stone and filter paper.
2. Air source: The air supply pump should be able to make the water pressure act stably over time according to the specified requirements.
3. Pressure control instrument: The range should be (0-2.5Mpa).
4. Permeability test mold: A metal test mold should be used, the inner diameter of the upper mouth should be 70mm, and the inner diameter of the lower mouth should be 80mm. The height should be 40mm, and there is a water outlet on the upper side of the test mold.
5. Sealing material: Cement and butter sealing material can be used.
6. Permeable stone: diameter 80mm, thickness 4mm, and permeability coefficient should be greater than 10-3cm/S
7. Burette: graduation value is not greater than 0.1mL
8. Filter paper: diameter 70mm.
9. Voltage: 380v 50HZ
10. Motor power: 130W
3. Operation steps
- Sample preparation
Prepare cement soil samples according to specifications (usually formed by static pressure method) to ensure uniform density.
Sample saturation: Vacuum or soak for 24 hours to eliminate internal bubbles. - Install the sample
Load the saturated sample into the permeameter and seal the surrounding area to prevent lateral leakage.
Connect the inlet and outlet pipelines and check the sealing. - Apply water pressure
Set a constant water head (such as 0.1MPa), turn on the water supply system, and record the initial water level and time. - Data recording
Record the amount of seepage at fixed intervals (such as 30 minutes) until the flow rate stabilizes. - Calculate the permeability coefficient
Take the flow data from the stable stage and substitute it into the Darcy formula for calculation.
4. Precautions
- Sample requirements
The sample must be completely saturated to avoid bubbles affecting data accuracy.
If the sample is prone to disintegration when exposed to water, it is necessary to gradually apply pressure with a low water head. - Equipment maintenance
Clean the permeation chamber after each experiment to prevent cement residue from blocking the pipeline.
Regularly check the accuracy of the pressure gauge and the aging of the sealing ring (it is recommended to calibrate every 6 months). - Safe operation
It is strictly prohibited to rapidly increase the pressure during pressurization to avoid sample breakdown or equipment damage.
5. Application scenarios
- Roadbed engineering: Evaluate the impermeability performance of cement stabilized soil.
- Environmental engineering: Study the permeability characteristics of solidified polluted soil.
- Research and teaching: Comparative test of permeability of soil modified materials.
6. Common problem handling
Fault phenomenon | Possible reasons | Solution |
Zero seepage volume | The sample is not saturated or the pipeline is blocked | Resaturate the sample/clean the pipeline |
Large pressure fluctuations | Poor sealing or water pump malfunction | Replace the sealing ring/inspect the water pump |
Poor data repeatability | Uneven sample or unstable water head
Standardize sample |
