Operation process of tensile testing machine and matters needing attention during power on

Tensile testing machine, also known as universal material testing machine, is used to test mechanical properties of various materials, such as static load, tension, compression, bending, shearing, tearing, peeling, etc.

1、 Operation flow of tensile testing machine

1. Make sample: make sample according to the requirements of test standard, and measure its size and other data.

2. Power on: first turn on the software measurement and control system on the computer, and then turn on the power supply of the testing machine. Select the appropriate test type according to the test to be carried out.

3. Trial operation: select the appropriate speed to make the testing machine run up and down to make sure that the pulling machine runs normally.

4. New record of tensile testing machine: according to the number of tests to be carried out, the corresponding number of test records shall be created, and the corresponding batch number, number, test environment, sample size and other relevant data shall be filled in.

5. Loading and placing samples: adjust the position of loading and placing samples on the testing machine, and install and place the samples.

6. Range selection: according to the range of test force and deformation required by the test, adjust the tensile machine to the appropriate gear (range) of test force and deformation.

7. Clear: clear the test force, deformation and displacement.

8. Test speed of tensile testing machine: set the appropriate test speed according to the requirements of the test process in the standard; if there is no speed requirement in the standard, set a more appropriate speed, and the speed should not be too large, so as not to affect the test results.

9. End condition: according to the requirements of the test process in the standard, if the specimen is to be damaged (such as tensile, cement compression), select "break judgment"; if the tensile (or compressive) test force ends, select "target" and "test force"; if the tensile (or compressive) test force ends, select "target" and "deformation".

10. Test start: click the "test start" button to start the test.

11. End of tensile testing machine test: after the test, the "end of test" button will be pressed automatically. If it is necessary to end the test midway, you can also press the "end of test" button to end the test manually.

12. Test results: click the "analysis" button to view the corresponding test results. Continue the test: click the "test" button to return to the test operation interface, click the "next" button to switch the test record to the next one, and repeat steps 5-11 for the test.

13. Save data: if the test data needs to be saved, press the "save" button to save the test data to the database for reference. Print report: if the test results need to be printed, press the "output report" button to output the test results to the word document and print.

14. Power off of tensile testing machine: first turn off the power of testing machine, then turn off the software measurement and control system and computer.

2、 Matters needing attention when the tensile testing machine is electrified

1. Before energizing the tensile testing machine, ensure that the power supply voltage meets the input voltage value specified by the tensile testing machine. The tensile testing machine equipped with three wire power plug must be equipped with protective grounding in the power supply socket to ensure safety.

2. When using the tensile testing machine, its input signal or external load should be limited within the specified range, and overload operation is prohibited.

3. The tension testing machine must run without load before use, and can only be loaded and used after no fault. Lubricate before use, wipe clean after use, pay attention to daily maintenance.

4. The tensile testing machine can not be disassembled or disassembled at will.

5. The tensile testing machine shall be maintained frequently and stored in a dry and ventilated place. If the machine is waiting for a long time, it shall be powered on regularly to prevent dampness from damaging its parts.

6. Tension testing machine must pay attention to adjust the travel limit switch, which can protect the sensor from collision.

7. When using the tensile testing machine, it is necessary to carefully read the technical instructions, be familiar with the technical indicators, working performance, use methods and precautions, and operate in strict accordance with the procedures specified in the instrument instructions.

8. The first use of tension testing machine staff, must be under the guidance of skilled staff to operate, master before independent operation.
