Why the impact test
In practical engineering, almost all equipment must withstand a certain impact in operation and transportation. For example, the equipment installed on the vehicle may suffer various impacts during operation. In order to determine the impact resistance of these equipment and understand their reliability, so as to ensure that they can work satisfactorily in the actual impact environment, it is necessary to carry out various impact tests on them with an impact testing machine.
Generally, it is impossible to completely simulate the actual impact environment in the impact test. The current impact testing machine can only produce several typical impact processes and make them have certain precision repeatability. The impact testing machine only strives to make the impact of its applied impact process on the measured object similar to the impact of the actual impact, or compare their impact resistance through the effects of many equipment on the same typical impact process.
