Water filling method tester GSY-1

Water filling method tester GSY-1 is suitable for rapid testing of railway roadbed compaction. According to the volume of water filled in the test tube, the specific gravity of the test tube material is calculated, and the compaction value is calculated from the surface.

Test steps

1. Fix the base plate on the leveled surface. Lay the polyethylene plastic film tightly along the inner wall of the ring sleeve and the ground surface. Record the initial water level of the water storage tank, and fill the base plate with water until it is just full and does not overflow. Record the water level of the water storage tank.
2. Dig down to the required depth, put the sample that falls into the pit into the soil container, and measure the water content.
3. Repair the pit wall, and lay the plastic film tightly along the bottom and wall of the pit
4. Record the initial water level in the water storage tube and fill it with water. When the water surface is flush with the upper edge of the ring, close the water injection pipe and record the water level in the water storage cylinder for 3 to 5 minutes.
