Purpose

Structure and principle

Operation steps
Preparation: Check whether the instrument is operating normally and clean the stirring pot and stirring paddle. Weigh a certain amount of emulsified asphalt sample and prepare the required additives and water, etc.
Test process: Put the emulsified asphalt sample into the stirring pot, add an appropriate amount of water or other additives, start the motor, and adjust the stirring speed to the specified value. At the same time, turn on the temperature control device and adjust the temperature to the temperature required for the test. During the stirring process, closely observe the state changes of the emulsified asphalt and record relevant data.
Result judgment: According to the test standards and requirements, observe the demulsification phenomenon of emulsified asphalt, such as flocculation, precipitation, stratification, etc., record the demulsification time and demulsification state, so as to evaluate the demulsification speed and stability of emulsified asphalt.
Maintenance and maintenance
Daily maintenance: After each use, clean the sample cavity, pipelines and related components immediately to avoid the influence of sample residue on subsequent test results. Regularly check the power cord, data cable and other connecting parts of the instrument to ensure that there is no wear, breakage or looseness.
Regular calibration: According to the instrument's manual, calibrate regularly with standard samples to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the test results. The calibration cycle should be set according to the frequency of use of the instrument and the type of sample. It is generally recommended to calibrate monthly or every time major maintenance is performed.
Parts inspection and replacement: Regularly check the seals and gaskets inside the instrument to prevent leakage and sample cross-contamination. If aging or damage is found, it should be replaced in time. Check the test needle and pipeline for blockage or corrosion to ensure smooth fluid flow. All parts that come into contact with the sample should be replaced regularly to ensure the measurement accuracy of the instrument.
